I specialise in book and paper conservation, currently based in London. I work with natural fibres, book cloth, and leather, along with natural & synthetic dyes, stitches, and weaves, with delicate hand skills. I am fascinated by the illustrations and decorative details of old books and paper artefacts, and would like to conserve the essence of their beauty.
I repair and conserve from personal collections to museum objects, including rare books, parchment, etchings, and precious family heirloom books. Also, I offer my skills in making bespoke preservation boxes or display cradles with the optimum material choices and design. Each treatment will include professional condition and treatment reports, with photo documentation.
I hold an MA and BA in Book and Paper Conservation from City & Guilds of London Art School, as well as a BA in Art Studies (Aesthetics, Art Philosophy, and History of Art) and a BFA in Printmaking from Hongik University in Korea.
